AniCura is looking for an experienced IT support wizard.

AniCura is a European group of high-quality veterinary practices and clinics that offer veterinary care to small pets. AniCura is active in 13 European countries, and we have had a significant expansion in Belgium since 2020. To support our 18 Belgian clinics (approximately 300 employees), we are looking for a driven and hands-on IT support technician, preferably also with a heart for animals.

The role

As a member of the central support team, you will support all of our clinics and practices in terms of IT. You are responsible for the IT infrastructure, IT security, and workplace management within our fast-growing group. You implement the necessary processes and systems and can count on ideas and support from your colleagues in other countries.

In addition, you are ready as first-line IT support for the clinics and the central team. As an IT expert, you are also an important team member in system software and IT platform change projects.

Primary responsibilities

• Provide first-line support to the clinics and your colleagues in the central team in terms of infrastructure, telephony, key IT software systems, e-mail accounts,...
  
• Professional support on hardware and infrastructure (hardware, network, hosting, firewalls) within all our clinics: complete an inventory of the current situation in each clinic and on this basis, in combination with the guidelines of the group, determine the standards and the implementation approach in terms of infrastructure, hardware, telephony...
  
• Ensure the implementation of IT programs provided by the group, and further management of the applications after implementation.
  
• Key team member on major platform or software system change projects
  

What kind of colleague are we looking for

You are a driven, hands-on operational IT wizard who enjoys being part of a small team within a well-performing European high-growth group. You enjoy a role where every day offers new challenges and a variety of tasks.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in an all-round IT role;

• Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of infrastructure, hardware, and security, plus some knowledge of GDPR

• Knowledge of how to work with a ticketing system

• Pragmatic, service-oriented attitude and driven to solve problems autonomously

• Knowledge of VoIP is a plus

• Experience with software packages and their integration

• Self-starter with a sense of responsibility

• Full proficiency in French and English, a knowledge of Dutch is a plus
